With an internationally diverse, close-knit community of around 4,500 students, Bond University offers the Australia’s lowest student-to-staff ratio, enabling small class sizes that encourage productive engagement and individual mentoring. This personalised approach to education, combined with its uncompromising focus on industry relevance, Bond University apart from every other Australian university. Bond’s three semesters per year schedule facilitates accelerated study programs, allowing students to complete a six-semester bachelor degree in two years instead of three, or a master’s in 12 months.
Bond University’s extensive corporate partnerships give students access to industry leaders, opportunities for internships, scholarships and graduate placements with a number of blue-chip organisations worldwide. Students can broaden their horizons by participating in an international exchange program, with the opportunity to study at some of the world’s leading universities. Bond University also welcomes students from its partner institutions who wish to study in Australia for a semester through the Study Abroad program. Also on campus are Bond College – offering university pathway programs – and the Bond University English Language Institute.
The Bond University campus is located on the Gold Coast in the south-east corner of the state of Queensland; one hour from Brisbane and with easy reach of Sydney through regular commercial flights departing from the Gold Coast Airport. Considered Australia’s fastest growing city, the Gold Coast has a strong industrial base formed of marine, education, information communication and technology, food, tourism, creative, environment and sports industries. The city’s economic prosperity is predicted to strengthen further as it prepares to host the Commonwealth Games in 2018. The Bond University campus itself boasts state-of-the-art teaching and learning facilities and infrastructure. There is a wide array of on-campus accommodation and dining options with additional accommodation within walking distance of the campus. More than 70 on-campus sporting, recreation and special interest clubs operate on campus, fostering the tight-knit community spirit and complementing the student experience.
